West Virginia men’s basketball has a head coach and with that they can begin their work in the transfer portal.
The Mountaineers have made contact and scheduled a visit with Toby Okani and Conor Enright.
Okani is from UIC, and he’s a 6-foot-8 wing, who averaged 11.1 points, 6.8 rebounds, 2.0 blocks, and 1.5 steals per game this season. Joe Tipton of On3 first reported the visits, and also said there were only five other players who averaged two or more blocks and one or more steals per game this season.
Okani is set to visit WVU April 12-14 and he has one year of eligibility remaining.
Enright comes from Drake, where new head coach Darian DeVries was. He took a visit to DePaul and their new head coach Chris Holtmann, and he’s also hearing from multiple other schools including Big 12 foe BYU.
The Portal Report first reported the news of Enright, who averaged 6.9 points and 3.2 rebounds per game as a sophomore at Drake. Enright is listed at 6-foot, 170 pounds.
