Darian DeVries confirms his son Tucker will be joining him at WVU

At his introductory press conference on Thursday, newly named WVU men’s basketball head coach Darian DeVries announced his son Tucker will be joining him in Morgantown to play for the Mountaineers.

DeVries officially entered the transfer portal on Wednesday and will be transferring to West Virginia.

The junior 6-foot-7 guard/forward was a two-time Missouri Conference Player of the Year at Drake, where he averaged 21.6 points, 6.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game this season, helping the Bulldogs to a 28-7 and the No. 10-seed in the NCAA tournament.
