West Virginia guard Seth Wilson announced he is entering the transfer portal.
Wilson was in his third season with the Mountaineers, averaging 3.5 points per game this season, playing in 28 games, and starting three games. Wilson had a season-high 11 points twice the season for the Mountaineers.
Derek Murray of The Scouting Service first reported the news, as Wilson posted on social media with a message to Mountaineer fans.
“I want to say it has been a blessing to represent this great University and State. I want to thank all of my coaches, advisors, supporters, and fans over these past three years,” Wilson said.
Wilson is the first Mountaineer to hit the portal this offseason as WVU is set to welcome new head coach Darian DeVries on Thursday.
