West Virginia guard JJ Quinerly has been named an AP All-American Honorable Mention selection, it was announced on Wednesday.
She is the 30th All-American in WVU program history, and is the 14th from women’s basketball to be named an All-American.
Quinerly played in 31 games this season for WVU, averaging 19.6 points per game. She also averaged 2.9 steals per game and she scored the most total points (608) in the Big 12 this season.
QUinerly was named the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year, and was named to the All-Big 12 First Team.
