Current San Francisco 49ers offensive tackle and former Mountaineer Colton McKivitz received a contract extension from the team as reported by ADMG Sports.
He was previously under contract through the 2024 season and the new contract is a one-year extension worth $7,000,000 through the 2025 season. He is set to make $2,525,000 in 2024.
McKivitz just wrapped his fourth season in the NFL as well as his fourth with the 49ers. He became a regular starter for the first time just this past season and helped lead San Francisco to an appearance in Super Bowl LVIII.
McKivitz played at West Virginia from 201 to 2019 and was drafted by the 49ers in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
