West Virginia women’s basketball has officially entered tournament play, and they begin their Big 12 Tournament journey against Cincinnati on Friday night.
No. 11 Cincinnati vs No. 6 West Virginia is set to tip around 9:00 p.m. EST, the last scheduled game of the day. The game will be televised on ESPN+.
Cincinnati is coming off a win in their first round game against UCF, winning, 67-62. West Virginia took both games during the regular season from the Bearcats, outscoring them a combined 140-96, including a 72-43 on Jan. 20.
The winner of this game will get to face No. 3 Kansas State on Saturday.
