Former West Virginia offensive lineman, Mark Glowinski, was officially released by the New York Giants on Monday.
The 31-year-old Glowinski will be entering his 10th season in the NFL. He started six games last season for the Giants and has started 96 games across his career, also playing for the Colts and Seahawks.
Glowinski and the Giants reached a three-year $20 million deal during free agency in 2022. Releasing Glowinski saves the Giants $5.7 million in cap space.
At West Virginia, Glowinski redshirted in 2012 after transferring from Lackawanna College and started all 12 games at right guard for the Mountaineers, where he played a team-high 842 offensive snaps. He was selected in the fourth round of the 2015 NFL Draft (134th overall) by Seattle Seahawks.
