Deuce McBride comes in for injured All-Star and helps lead Knicks to a win on Sunday

In the opening minute of Sunday’s game between the New York Knicks and Cleveland Cavaliers, Knicks all-star Jalen Brunson went down with an injury.

In stepped Miles ‘Deuce’ McBride, who would play the next 47 minutes of the game and help lead the Knicks to a 107-98 win.

McBride did not step off the court after Brunson got injured, and he made this moment count. McBride finished with 16 points on 6-for-15 shooting, and four of those makes came from three. McBride also had five assists on the night as well.

One of the highlights of the night was McBride dropping a Cavs defender to the floor as he then went by him for the layup. Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau said McBride was “fantastic” in last night’s victory.
