West Virginia football announced the addition of Ryan Nehlen as an offensive analyst as well as a special assistant to the head coach on Thursday.
Nehlen, the grandson of legendary coach Don Nehlen, and comes to WVU from McNeese State. Nehlen was at WVU in 2018, and then left in the summer of 2022 to be the tight ends coach at McNeese State.
Nehlen now returns to Morgantown under Neal Brown, who he worked with from 2019-2021. McNeese State is coming off a 1-10 season, while WVU is coming off a 9-4 finish to 2023.
