West Virginia women’s basketball rises in latest AP Poll after big win over Oklahoma

West Virginia women’s basketball picked up their second ranked win of the season on Saturday, and with that, they rose to No. 22 in the latest AP Poll.

The Mountaineers beat TCU on the road, and No. 23 Oklahoma on Saturday at home, helping them move up two spots. The Sooners did not move in the poll, while Baylor, who the Mountaineers host this upcoming Saturday came in at No. 24.

There are two top-ten teams in the Big 12, with Kansas State at No. 10, and Texas at No. 5 in the latest poll.

WVU is still in a three-way tie for second place with Kansas State and Texas, while Oklahoma sits at first place in the league standings. The Mountaineers face Kansas State on the road this week, before hosting Baylor.
