ESPN updated their NCAA women’s basketball Bracketology to which they had the No. 24 Mountaineers headed out West.
West Virginia was a part of the Portland 2 region as the No. 6 seed and is currently predicted to head to Los Angeles to face No. 11 seeded Richmond.
The Big 12 had six teams represented in the Bracketology. Of the Big 12 teams, No. 5 Texas had the highest seed, also in the Portland 2 region, seeded at No. 2.
WVU will host No. 23 Oklahoma on Saturday in their next contest, in a game that holds major conference tournament implications. Tipoff is set for 1:00 p.m. EST with the game being streamed to ESPN+.
