WVU Women’s Basketball Drops Two Spots in AP Poll

West Virginia women’s basketball remained in the AP Top 25 Poll, but dropped two spots to No. 24 on Monday.

The Mountaineers suffered their third loss of the season on Saturday, falling to then-No. 18 Baylor on the road. The Lady Bears checked in at No. 21 in this week’s poll, while other Big 12 schools Oklahoma is at No. 23, Kansas State at No. 7, and Texas at No. 5.

The Mountaineers have a two-game swing this week, facing TCU on the road on Tuesday and then getting Oklahoma at home on Saturday. WVU is 20-3 on the season, and 9-3 in Big 12 play.

Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday night for the Mountaineers. The game will be televised on ESPN+.
