The Big 12 men’s basketball standings are still a mess as there is less than a month left in the regular season.
Three teams in the Big 12 have won two games in a row, while three teams have also lost two in a row. Everyone else either is coming off a win or a loss.
Current Big 12 Men’s Basketball Standings

Houston leads the pack, as they are 8-3 in Big 12 play, but Iowa State and Kansas are right behind the Cougars. Houston and Iowa State meet on Feb. 19, in a game that could have major implications in how the top of the standings shape up. Houston also ends the season facing Kansas on Mar. 9.
Following the top three, the third place through the 12th place teams are all separated by two games or less in the win column. Baylor, Texas Tech, and Oklahoma each have six wins in Big 12 play, The Bears and Sooners are set to play on Tuesday night.
There are then four teams with five wins, as BYU, TCU, Texas, and Kansas State are at five wins in league play. Texas and Kansas State have their bye week this week, while TCU and BYU each get games at home this week.
Following them is Cincinnati and UCF, as both teams are coming off losses.
Then at the bottom is West Virginia and Oklahoma State. Neither of them have won on the road, and WVU is the only Big 12 team that has not reached 10 wins on the season.
