BPI, KenPom, and Vegas Predict No. 22 BYU vs West Virginia

On Saturday night, No. 22 BYU heads to Morgantown to face West Virginia.

The Mountaineers are coming off a win against Cincinnati this past Wednesday, while the Cougars had their bye week in the conference schedule this week.

BYU is 15-5 and 3-4 in conference play, while WVU is 8-13, and 3-5 in conference play.

The computer models are high on BYU, as KenPom has them ranked No. 9, and the NET Rankings have them at No. 6.

This game is a Quad 1 game for the Mountaineers, as WVU is 1-5 in such games so far this season. WVU is No. 145 in the NET, making this a Quad 3 game for BYU. They are 2-0 in such games this season.

KenPom favors BYU, giving WVU just a 16 percent chance to win. Their final score prediction is, 79-69 in favor of the Cougars. BPI has a similar percentage point, giving the Cougars an 81.8 percent chance to win. Vegas’ betting odds predict a BYU win as well, as they are a 7.5-point favorite.

Tip-off is set for 6:00 p.m. from the WVU Coliseum, and the game will be televised on ESPN+.
