West Virginia women’s basketball continues to move up in the AP Top 25, as they check in at No. 23 this week.
The Mountaineers still only have two losses — one to Texas and the other to Iowa State. WVU avenged that loss to Iowa State this past Saturday. They move up one spot from last week, where they were ranked No. 24.
WVU received 132 total votes, and sit behind Creighton (160), Syracuse (176), and Utah (296) in the poll.
WVU has two games this week, starting on Tuesday night at home against UCF, and then on Saturday as they hit the road against BYU.
West Virginia is one of four Big 12 teams ranked, including No. 2 Kansas State, No. 12 Texas, No. 13 Baylor, and No. 23 West Virginia.
