West Virginia football has had their 2024 schedule released, according to Mike Casazza of 247Sports.
On the eve of the official release on Tuesday morning, Casazza broke down WVU’s 12 games, including seven at home at Milan Puskar Stadium.
The schedule features the season three home games in the first four weeks of the season for the Mountaineers, including matchups against Penn State, Albany, and Kansas. Kansas is WVU’s Big 12 opener for the second time in three years (2022), and the Mountaineers hit the road for the first time in conference play on Oct. 5 against Oklahoma State.
WVU has back-to-back home games on Oct. 12-19, against Iowa State and Kansas State, followed by a trip to new Big 12 foe Arizona on Oct. 26. Following their trip out west, they have their second bye week, and they then head to face Cincinnati on either a Thursday or Friday.
WVU then has two more home games against Baylor and UCF, and then concludes the season against Texas Tech on Nov. 30.
