As if Zach Frazier couldn’t have done anything more as a Mountaineer, he just proved he can.
The Fairmont, West Virginia, native was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) 2023 Football Academic All-America Team, becoming the 12th First Team Academic All-American in West Virginia program history.
Frazier is one of 27 Division I football players to receive this award this year. Frazier has a 3.88 GPA as a sport management major at WVU.
Frazier is the 31st Academic All-American in program history, Frazier was also a finalist for the William V. Campbell award, given to college football’s most outstanding athlete.
