The Mountaineers are on the road in Norman Wednesday as they take on the No. 15 Sooners after having beat former-ranked Texas in what was a thrilling upset inside the WVU Coliseum Saturday.
Oklahoma comes into the game with a 13-3 record, 1-2 in Big 12 play, averaging 80.1 points per game, shooting 48.9% from the field and holding opponents to an average of 65.2 points per game.
As for West Virginia, they are 6-10, losing their last three games on the road, also 1-2 in conference play, they average 67.9 points per game, shooting 40.6% from the field and allowing opponents to score 71.7 points per game on average.
This will be the 28th meeting between the programs, the first being in 2005, with OU holding a 17-10 advantage.
WVU won the last matchup on Feb. 4, 2023, defeating the Sooners 93-61 at home, snapping a seven-game losing streak against them which dated back to 2020.
West Virginia is currently +12.5 point underdogs, with an over/under set at 144.5.
This could be the last time the two teams face off as Big 12 opponents, with Oklahoma joining the SEC next school year along with Texas.
