A couple of former Mountaineers were out there making their mark in the Wild Card Round of the 2023-24 NFL Playoffs.
OT Colton McKivitz and the 49ers got the lone first round bye in the NFC and will play host to the Packers on Saturday, Jan. 20.
DB Daryl Worley and the Ravens got the lone first round bye in the AFC and will play host to the Texans on Saturday, Jan. 20. Worley will not get a chance to play in the playoffs as he was placed on season-ending injured reserve prior to Week 18.
Browns LB Tony Fields was credited with starting and played 19 defensive snaps in their Wild Card Round loss to the Texans. Pro Football Focus graded Fields at 61.8 on defense as well as 41.0 on special teams.
Dolphins LB David Long Jr. was credited with having seven combined tackles in their Wild Card Round loss to the Chiefs. He was PFF’s lowest graded player on the Dolphins defense at 28.8.
Dolphins edge rusher Bruce Irvin, who was recently signed to the team, saw action on 12 defensive snaps and graded out at 38.8 from PFF.
Bills CB Rasul Douglas was inactive after being listed as questionable heading into their Wild Card game against the Steelers. The Bills won and that gives Douglas a chance to get back on the field next week when they host the Chiefs.
