West Virginia football announced the official addition of defensive lineman T.J. Jackson on Friday.
Jackson, a 6-foot-1, 275-pound, transfer from Troy, comes to the Mountaineers after he was named a Second Team All-Sun Belt Selection this past season. He is originally from Millbrook, Alabama, and will be asked to come in and immediately play in 2024 for WVU.
In 2023, Jackson started 11 of 12 games he played in, and had 27 tackles, 3.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery.
Jackson will have two years to complete one season of eligibility.
