Josh Minkins, a transfer portal verbal commit from Louisville announced he would not be attending WVU on Friday.
Minkins committed to WVU back in December, and was one of the first adds of the offseason transfer cycle. In 2023, Minkins had 99 total tackles in his career and he will have one year of eligibility remaining. Minkins also has five total interceptions, including two this past season.
Minkins took to social media to announce this decision saying, “I will not be attending West Virginia. Please respect my decision.”
Minkins is now the second transfer portal addition for the Mountaineers to decommit this week, as Tahj Ra-El also said he won’t be attending WVU.
