West Virginia linebacker Lee Kpogba officially declared for the NFL draft on Wednesday via an Instagram post.
Kpogba spent the 2022 and 2023 seasons with West Virginia, after starting his collegiate career at Syracuse and spending 2021 at East Mississippi Community College.
With the Mountaineers, Kpogba recorded 189 total tackles (91 solo), 13 tackles-for-loss, six-and-a-half sacks, a pass defended and a forced fumble over two seasons.
In his post, Kpogba wrote: “Thank you to Coach Brown for taking a chance on me, Coach [Lesley] for the knowledge, and to Coach Koonz for your wisdom, teaching, and grace. To my teammates who became brothers and for Mountaineer Nation I am forever appreciative of you all.”
