West Virginia fifth year Mary Tucker will travel to Paris this summer to make WVU’s ninth ever appearance in the women’s shooting Olympic competition.
WVU’s rifle team announced Tucker’s accomplishment on its X account Sunday. Tucker will be competing in air rifle for Team USA.
Tucker, who transferred to West Virginia last year after three years at Kentucky, is the reigning CRCA and GARC Shooter of the Year. In her senior season for WVU, Tucker averaged 598.03 points across 13 matches in air rifle, which she will be competing in this Olympics.
