West Virginia has officially added linebacker transfer Reid Carrico.
Carrico comes to the Mountaineers from Ohio State, where he spent three seasons. Carrico played in 10 games this season, mostly on special teams, but missed the final three games of the season.
Carrico is listed at 6-foot-2, 235 pounds, and is officially from Ironton, Ohio. Carrico verbally committed to the Mountaineers on Dec. 19, but the first day of class began on Monday, Jan. 8, for the spring semester at WVU.
