West Virginia kicker Michael Hayes announced that he’ll be returning to play for the Mountaineers in 2024, on X.
Hayes transferred to West Virginia from Georgia Southern after 2022 and scored 97 points this season for the Mountaineers
Hayes was a perfect 46-46 on extra points and did not miss a kick inside 39 yards this season.
Hayes was 5-6 from 40-49, with his longest kick made being 49 yards.
He was 0-3 from 50+ in 2023 but hit a 51-yarder in 2022 with Georgia Southern.
