On Sunday, West Virginia revealed the uniform combination they will be wearing in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl.
Charles Wesley Godwin, a Morgantown native, was performing in Morgantown the last four nights and on Sunday night he used the help of quarterback Garrett Greene to announce WVU is wearing their Country Roads Uniforms against North Carolina.
Greene joined Godwin on stage, wearing the uniform.
Godwin has been a big fan of the Mountaineers, also known for his speech he gave to the team prior to the season about them being picked 14th. Greene wore a No. 14 jersey at the concert, going back to Godwin’s speech.
West Virginia finished the regular season 8-4, and will play North Carolina in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl on Dec. 27.
