West Virginia forward Josiah Harris took part in WVU’s commencement ceremony on Saturday morning, receiving a degree in communications studies.
Harris earned his associates degree in high school, therefore taking two of the years needed to reach a four-year bachelor’s degree off of his timeline. Harris announced earlier this year he would be earning his first degree, and has a plan to continue his education.
Harris put on his Instagram story, a repost from a family members’ story saying “my baby is walking tomorrow and then flying to his game.”

Harris and the Mountaineers are set to tipoff abasing UMass at 6:30 p.m. Harris has started in all nine of WVU’s games this year, but with the returns of Kerr Kriisa, RaeQuan Battle, and Noah Farrakhan, it is uncertain where he or anyone fits into the rotation.
