Two Mountaineers named AP All-Americans

Redshirt fifth-year senior cornerback Beanie Bishop Jr. and junior center Zach Frazier were named to Associated Press All-American teams.

Bishop Jr. was named to the second team, and Frazier to the third team.

Bishop Jr. had 59 tackles and four interceptions in his first and last season as a Mountaineer. He joins a list of only three Mountaineer cornerbacks to receive an AP All-American nod.

Frazier led an offensive line that powered the most rushing yards of Power 5 teams in 2023 with 234.3 yards per game. He is the first Mountaineer center to get an AP All-American nod since Tyler Orlosky in 2016.

Both players are presumed to enter the 2024 NFL Draft.
