West Virginia running back Justin Johnson Jr. has entered the transfer portal, he announced in an X post and message to Mountaineer Nation.
Johnson, a junior from St.Louis, rushed for 150 yards and a touchdown this season on 38 carries. He saw a season-high 72 yards on 14 attempts in a loss to Oklahoma State on Oct. 21.
In 2022, Johnson rushed for 430 yards on 98 carries with three touchdowns.
With the late-season emergence of true freshman back Jahiem White, Johnson decides to enter the portal attempting to make the most of his last year of eligibility.
