Running back Jahiem White earned a spot on The Athletic’s Freshman All-America Second Team, the outlet announced Thursday.
White, who ran for 792 yards in 11 games this season, gained recognition from several organizations in the past week, including a freshman first team selection from the College Football Network. He stands alongside Western Michigan’s Jalen Buckley on the CFN team and with Texas’ CJ Baxter for The Athletic.
Following the announcements, White announced on X that he will be staying with West Virginia next season.
