West Virginia will be returning two key freshmen pieces on offense.
The Mountaineers got commitments from both Rodney Gallagher and Jahiem White on Friday, as they both said they are staying in 2024.
After White was named a Freshman All-American, White went on social media and said “can’t wait to play my next season with WV.”
Then, a fan tagged Gallagher, before he responded saying, “don’t got to worry about that. I’m here.”
Both players were integral parts of West Virginia on offense, especially towards the back half of the season.
White was able to work well in the backfield and out of the backfield as a receiver. Gallagher’s numbers didn’t pop as much as White’s but he was used in a lot of schemes over about the final month of the regular season for the Mountaineers.
These two join a number of other players including fellow freshman Traylon Ray, Kole Taylor, and Garrett Greene, among others to commit to staying at WVU next season.
