West Virginia cornerback, Beanie Bishop, who led the nation in pass breaks and total passes defended, has been named an All-American.
Bishop was named to the First Team by College Football Network and Bleacher Report. He made USA Today’s Second Team and was an honorable mention selection by CBS Sports.
Bishop transferred to West Virginia from Minnesota while also having spent time at Western Kentucky.
Along with his 20 pass breakups and four interceptions this season, Bishop made 59 total tackles (48 solo).
Bishop has no remaining eligibility and will most likely enter the 2024 NFL draft.
