West Virginia SPEAR Hershey McLaurin is set to enter the transfer portal.
McLaurin just finished his second year with the program after transferring in from junior college. He played in 11 games this year for the Mountaineers, starting seven of them.
He had 44 total tackles, 6.0 TFL, and .5 sacks this season. McLaurin finished the year with a 74.6 overall defensive grade from Pro Football Focus.
West Virginia Sports first reported the news of McLaurin entering the portal.
McLaurin later confirmed the news on social media, announcing he is entering the transfer portal and that he will have one year of eligibility remaining.
