Duquesne transfer CB Ayden Garnes plans to visit Morgantown and WVU Dec. 8-10 after receiving an offer, according to Schuyler Callihan of Mountaineers New.

In two years at Duquesne, Garnes had 78 tackles (43 solo), four interceptions, a forced and recovered fumble, one touchdown and half a sack.

Against West Virginia this year, Garnes made three tackles and had a pass defended.

The transfer portal officially opened on Monday, and the Mountaineers along with teams around the country are using the portal to help and reshape their roster. The current portal window lasts from Dec. 4, 2023 – Jan. 2, 2024.
