Baylor is hiring former West Virginia offensive coordinator Jake Spavital to serve in the same role.
Colt Barber first announced the news, for the former Mountaineer coordinator who was the offensive coordinator at Cal, after being the head coach at Texas State for the four seasons prior.
Spavital worked as WVU’s offensive coordinator under Dana Holgorsen in 2017-2018, and was also on the staff for two seasons from 2011-2012.
