West Virginia running back CJ Donaldson has been named a semifinalist for the College Sports Communicators’ Comeback Player of the Year.
Donaldson had his 2022 season ended in late October, suffering a season-ending lower leg injury. Then, he came back this season, playing in all 12 of WVU’s games in 2023.
Donaldson rushed for 798 yards and 11 touchdowns, and had nine catches for 59 yards.
