In-state quarterback Abe Fenwick commits to WVU

Quarterback Abe Fenwick announced his commitment to the Mountaineers’ football team on Tuesday through X, formerly known as Twitter.

Fenwick, a senior at George Washington High School in Charleston, announced his decommitment from William and Mary on Wednesday before announcing his commitment to West Virginia. He completed his senior football season earlier in the month.

West Virginia currently has six quarterbacks available on their roster, and none are slated to graduate before next season. Nevertheless, Fenwick will add depth and potential for the future as Garrett Greene moves closer to leaving Morgantown.
