Neal Brown with no update on Preston Fox after he leaves Baylor game in ambulance

West Virginia wide receiver and kick returner Preston Fox left the game in an ambulance during WVU’s win over Baylor.

Fox was hurt in the third quarter after going airborne and hauling in a 29-yard catch. Fox would hit the ground hard and would then be still for a few seconds. The next shot on the FS1 broadcast was Fox on the sideline being tended to by trainers.

Later, Fox would be leave McLane Stadium in Waco, in an ambulance. After the game West Virginia head coach Neal Brown said they will know more about Fox’s status soon.

“Preston had to leave; we’ll know more about him,” Brown said of Fox.

Fox had three catches for 51 yards on Saturday.
