Houston has fired head coach Dana Holgorsen, according to multiple reports.
Holgorsen just completed his fifth season with the Cougars, and their first season in the Big 12. Houston finished 2023 with a 4-8 record, and a 2-7 showing in conference play.
Holgorsen amassed a 31-28 record over his five seasons with the Cougars.
Holgorsen was at West Virginia from 2011-2018 before he got the Houston job, and beat his former school 41-39 this season.
