West Virginia leads Baylor 27-14 at halftime.
The Mountaineers were led by their quarterback Garrett Greene who rushed for two touchdowns and threw for another in the first half. Greene found Traylon Ray for a 30-yard touchdown to open the scoring, while Greene had touchdown rushes of 23 yards and one yard in length, respectively.
Greene is 10 for 15 through the air for 158 yards and a touchdown. Greene has rushed for 80 total yards on eight carries.
Baylor got their two scores on kickoff returns for touchdowns. Richard Reese had back-to-back returns of 96 yards and 93 yards for touchdowns.
Baylor quarterback Sawyer Robertson is 3 for 3 passing for 51 yards. He is also Baylor’s leading rusher for 20 yards on six carries.
WVU’s Jahiem White broke the 100-yard mark in the first half, rushing nine times for 113 yards. CJ Donaldson added five rushes for 23 yards.
