West Virginia cornerback Beanie Bishop Jr. has been named a semifinalist for the Chuck Bednarik Award.
The Bednarik Award is presented annually to the best player in college football. Bishop is currently the nation’s leader in pass breakups with 19 and interceptions with four.
The finalists for the award will be announced on November 28th, with the winner being announced on December 8th.
