2024 guard Carmelo Adkins announced his commitment to play for West Virginia.
Adkins is 6-foot-5, 185 pounds and is a combo guard who is a three-star recruit. Adkins visited WVU in September. Adkins played for PHHoenix Prep in Phoenix, Arizona.
Adkins is a recruit for interim head coach Josh Eilert, with Jordan McCabe having a large part in Adkins’ recruitment. Adkins announced his commitment on social media saying, “Home. Morgantown let’s rock!”
