West Virginia travels to Houston on Thursday night, as both teams are coming off bye weeks.
The Mountaineers come into the game 4-1, and 2-0 in the Big 12. Houston comes in at 2-3 on the year, and 0-2 in Big 12 play. Houston is led by former West Virginia head coach Dana Holgorsen.
West Virginia opens the week as a two-point favorite over the Cougars, with the total number of points set at 54.5.
The Mountaineers have been underdogs in each of their past two games and have won outright. West Virginia has only not covered the spread once this season, in a week one loss to Penn State.
Kickoff for Thursday’s game is set for 7:00 p.m. and the game will be televised on FS1.
