In West Virginia football’s 24-21 win over TCU on Saturday, it came in a costly fashion for WVU’s defense.
The Mountaineers lost Aubrey Burks and Trey Lathan who both had to be carted off. Burks was dealing with an upper body injury, while Lathan was dealing with a leg injury.
Both players will stay in Fort Worth tonight, with Burks staying for observation while Lathan will have surgery on a lower leg injury, which likely ends his season.
