West Virginia football receives votes in both AP Poll and Coaches Poll

For the first time this season, West Virginia football received votes in both the AP Poll as well as the AFCA Coaches Poll.

The Mountaineers received fives votes in the AP Poll, which ranks as 33rd in the country. WVU received 37 votes in the Coaches Poll, which ranked 37th in the country.

The Mountaineers are 4-1 on the year and are off to a 2-0 start in Big 12 play.
