West Virginia football announced linebacker Trey Lathan had successful surgery on a lower leg injury on Sunday.
Lathan left the game against TCU on the cart and was held in Fort Worth on Saturday night.
The team announced on Sunday that Lathan had a successful surgery on a lower leg injury, but that he would be held in Fort Worth to continue to be monitored.
Lathan has come into his own this season with 27 total tackles, seven quarterback hits, a forced fumble and a TFL.
