West Virginia safety Aubrey Burks was carted off the field with an injury in WVU’s game against TCU.
Burks was down the field on a tackle on special teams and he was landed on while he was making a tackle. Burks appeared to be conscious and talking to the coaching staff.
Burks was surrounded by the entire WVU team and coaching staff as he was put onto the cart. Burks’ helmet was taken off as well as his shoulder and chest pads.
Burks has been the leader of this WVU defense and has led this team statistically as well.
