Jose Perez

Earlier today West Virginia and Jose Perez parted ways on Saturday for what was reportedly academic reasons.

Perez took to social media on Saturday night following the move, saying his side of the story.

Perez said, “I’ve been here then got thrown to the street like a dead animal.” Perez ended his statement saying, “wish nothing but the best to Mountaineer nation.”

Interim head coach Josh Eilert said, “we wish Jose the best in his future endeavors,” after Perez and WVU parted ways.
