The Big 12 announced the men’s basketball schedules, which completes West Virginia’s 2023-2024 schedule.
The Mountaineers open the conference portion on the road against Houston on Jan. 6 at 1:00 p.m.
Following that, WVU returns home to face Kansas State on Jan. 9 and and then Texas on Jan. 13. WVU then travels to Oklahoma on Jan. 17, before returning home to face Kansas on Saturday, Jan. 20, at 4 p.m.
WVU then hits the road for a two-game road trip, traveling to UCF on Jan. 23, and then to Oklahoma State on Jan. 27. WVU closes the month of January at home against Cincinnati on Jan. 31.
The month of February begins against new conference member BYU on Feb. 3, followed by a trip to the Lone Star State. WVU plays at Texas on Feb. 10 and then against TCU on Feb. 12. West Virginia returns home to face Baylor on Feb. 17, followed by hosting UCF on Feb. 20.
They then hit the road again at Iowa State on Feb. 24, before playing at Kansas State on Feb. 26 to end the month of February.
The Mountaineers then have three games in March with the first being against Texas Tech on Mar. 2, followed by their home finale against TCU on Mar. 6. WVU closes the regular season on the road against Cincinnati on Mar. 9.
The Big 12 Tournament will then take place from Mar. 12 to Mar. 16 in Kansas City at the T-Mobile Center.
Out of WVU’s 18 conference games, 11 of them are currently scheduled to be on ESPN+. WVU begins their season on Nov. 6 against Missouri State.
