The Seattle Seahawks have brought in former West Virginia star Tavon Austin for a workout according to Ari Meirov.
Austin, a former Mountaineer receiver, played for the team from 2009-2012. During his time in Morgantown, Austin was a two time first team All-Big East, first team All-Big 12, two time first team All-American, and Paul Hornung award winner.
Austin was taken eighth overall in the 2013 draft by the then St. Louis Rams. Since then, Austin has also had stints with the Cowboys, Packers, and Jaguars, while also spending time on the 49ers and Bills practice squads respectively.
The Seahawks current quarterback is Geno Smith, the same one Tavon Austin had during his time at WVU.
